About Us

Standing Ovation School of Dance has been in business for 32 years.  We pride ourselves on teaching correct technique from the start all while having fun in a family friendly environment.  We have grown to a large facility with three dance rooms each equipped with sprung marley flooring, mirrors, barres and professional sound systems.  

All of our staff members live for teaching dance to children.  Their passion is evident in their classes and at our end of the year recital.  They all have either professional performing backgrounds, college degrees, or professional training.  

We believe that dance teaches children life lessons that they will take with them no matter where they go.  Many of our dancers go onto professional careers.  We also have alumni that return home after college and performing to be a part of our staff.  We have a very diverse staff that helps to make our dancers adaptable in any situation and help to teach them all styles of dance.
